Hello there :)
Its gloomy and rainy here today. Its been raining since yesterday morning and it’s still coming down. I am not much of a napper but I napped for a full hour today and it felt so good. I love napping when its gloomy and raining outside.
This morning favorite running buddy and I were up at 5:00am to head out for our run. It was chilli and misty out but it never really rained on us so it ended up being really good running weather
Duration: 1hr 5min – we probably ran about 7.5 miles
I make egg beaters, sprouted toast and hash browns. I heart this combo!
I ended up putting a little ketchup on my hash browns and I had a glass of orange juice
Lets back up a notch to last night…
It was full of pizza and rhubarb cake :)
This was so good and Pizza has been on my mind for the last couple of days so I had to have it for dinner. I always order thin crust, all the veggies and light on the cheese. I like ordering healthy pizza because I feel like I can eat more of it ;)

Guess who’s back… ME!!! Sorry I was gone for longer then planned but we had some computer problems but everything is fixed now. That is the nice thing about having a tech savvy husband is that its kind of like having an IT/Help Desk department in your own home, no need to call anyone! I am still playing catch up from being gone last weekend so I am glad I have today off because I have a lot of laundry and cleaning to get done.
What a better way to start off a Friday morning then a nice big bowl of oats… in the mix is oats, vanilla soy milk, chia seeds (added after pic), raisins, nuts, apricots and fresh blueberries. I topped it with agave nectar for a little touch of sweetness :)
I think my workout will be a nice long dog walk today!
Back to my chores :(

I have to say that french toast is my all time favorite breakfast meal. I love eating it for breakfast or dinner. I usually don’t order it out because I have only been to one breakfast restaurant where they use whole wheat bread and egg whites and most places don’t serve it with peanut butter and a banana ;) . So I usually make it at home but I almost prefer it that way because I can make it just the way I want :)

I ran for 40 min, walked for 20 mins and I finished up with some strength training.
Pre run I had a snack size Larabar (sorry it was early I was still half asleep and forgot to snap a photo)
You guessed it… I made my favorite french toast! I used spouted bread, 1/2 c egg beaters, vanilla, cinnamon and vanilla soy milk. I topped it with peanut butter and a banana
I had a side of orange juice
Yay today is my Friday! I love that :)

Now that Wednesday is over its time for the count down to the weekend :) This weekend we are headed up to Vail to try out there Zip lines. I am really looking forward to it, I have always loved rollercoaster and carnival rides I guess I like the height and thrill. I am always the person to not pack until the night before and then I stress out and I always forget something!
Duration:45min – I stuck to only strength training this morning and the focus was shoulders and biceps
Pre workout I had a banana with peanut butter
I had a bowl of Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal with skim milk
I had a salad for lunch with all the toppings. I snacked on Okios Greek yogurt topped with fruit, grapes, rice crackers and a string cheese
I made my spaghetti squash and topped it with my homemade tomato sauce , fresh parsley and romano cheese
I try not to eat a lot of pasta so I love to eat spaghetti squash because it’s just like eating spaghetti. It is really easy and fast to make. I just poked it all over with a fork, then I popped it in the microwave for 6min. When its done cooking, I let it stand for a couple of mins before I cut it open. Once I cut it open i just discard the seeds (like a pumpkin) and then shred the squash over a bowl with a fork and that’s it.
I just finished a very good bowl of banana split ice cream :)

It seems like every time I have a chance to run outside after work it always starts getting cloudy, windy and rainy. I think it is sunny and warm all day up until I get off and then when I get home I have to end up going up stairs to the treadmill which I don’t mind too much but I would much rather be running outside where the sun is :) Today flew by and tomorrow is already Wednesday… I love long weekends!!
Today was a salad with the usual toppings. I brought fresh mango, cherries (found them on sale for $1.99 a pound :) ) , carrots w/hummus and a string cheese. Nothing too excited but is sure kept me full all day
I had normal delicious bowl of oats. I love this mix for my dinner/pre workout. It gives me so much energy and keeps me strong through out my workout
I am headed up stairs to break a sweat. I am planning on running probably 4 miles and strength training.

Good Morning and Happy Monday Tuesday :)
I only have a 3 day week this week because Friday we are leaving to Vail to go Zip Lining with my husbands parents. This morning has been a slower moving morning, I think because I am just trying to recover from the lack of sleep this weekend :( but it was all worth it!
This morning I just had a simple bowl of Kashi cereal with a banana on top
